585518 2007-08-28 10:35:00 My impression is that it's more of a brown moon than the advertised red one... Or is that just my bad eyesight? johcar (6283)
585519 2007-08-28 10:37:00 Was bad in West Auckland, but then the clouds cleared and it's been a great view. Great through binoculars. Grimy (3041)
585520 2007-08-28 10:37:00 Watching it from near Tauranga and it's an impressive shade of pink.

I put the camera in it's cradle to charge earlier today and forgot to plug it in....hurry up and charge!

585522 2007-08-28 11:03:00 Its looking good out here in South Auckland, with racing clouds now & then. stu161204 (123)
585523 2007-08-28 11:15:00 It is a bit cloudy, but can see it clearly enough. It's quite red, delighted to be able to see it.
Called husband out of bed to see it earlier, hope the neighbours weren't watching!:)
Friend in Sydney said very clear skies there, she described it as blood red.
Cheers,
Marnie
