There are always going to be ****loads of cars around to whip the battery out of. My Westie next door neigbour has around 8 cars for their family alone.
That way you could run computer with skype or power up cordless.

584605 2007-08-26 20:50:00 Cellphones could be used in an emergency as most people have one or two. The problem here is, I remember Vodafone saying they may block off access to a region during a large emergency to prevent total network overload. This would only be the case if there was a major disaster.
I take it that's what all the telecom spray paint is for... paving the route for NGN fibre to the cabinet.
