| 762992 | 2009-04-07 10:29:00 | Hi fellas, I got a partition that contains backups of our email archive database. The partition is only 120GB and each backup is around 10GB and happens daily. I normally go into the partition and delete all the older backups manually but was wondering if anyone could help me with a batch script that I can run daily to delete all older backups and keep around 7 latest backups only. The script can be setup to delete all the backups that are older than 7 days. My skills in scripting is fairly poor so any help would be appreciated. The server is windows based. Thanks |

I've done something similar with vb6, so vb scripting would be a good choice all you would need to do is look at the files properties depend on the result depends on the delete or keep action |
