762834 2009-04-06 23:16:00 I have a Lectron AR800C2-A01B ADSL router.

It's quite old so when I bought a new one I gave the one above to my parents to use for their broadband.

Time came to change the username etc on the router and I mistakenly pressed the "Reset" button which reset it to factory settings.

All well and good, except the factory username and password isn't the standard: 'admin/admin' or even 'admin/password'

I'm 90% sure the username is 'admin'.

Does anyone have ANY idea what the factory settings username and password for these routers are? I have searched the internet and can't seem to find anything. I found a link to a company called "Morning Star" in Auckland and their helpdesk for this specific router, I rang them and they said they couldn't provide any information for any "Lectron" products.

I'm at a total loss. Please HELP!!! :crying

Thanks

762835 2009-04-06 23:27:00 Try just using Admin as a password, with no user name. the_bogan (9949)
762836 2009-04-06 23:36:00 If that doesnt work, try these (case sensitive).

Username: admin Password: epicrouter

Username: Admin Password: Admin

Or to be more detailed, part of a post from there.

It will ask you for a password. Usually the default is something like login: admin, password: admin or try password as a password. If those don't work, log as admin with NO password. If all else fails, check around on these lists (you will need to know the brand and usually the model of your router):
http://defaultpassword.com/
www.phenoelit.de
www.cirt.net
NOTE: please don't use those lists for evil/nerfarious purposes.

See? DiabloII can be useful...

762841 2009-04-14 05:03:00 you may not have acctually reset the router. you have to push the reset button on power up or something while its loading the firmware eg the power LED flashes pushing it while its idle eg leds not flashing and fully booted up may not reset the settings williamF (115)
