It is understood Vodafone's adult channel is "single X-rated" and does not contain explicit content . Customers must pay 50 cents by credit card to view the channel and Vodafone says it will donate the income, less costs, to charity . Why would they say they wont make any money on this . I have doubts that any money would go to charity but if they did I wonder how their approach would be . . . . "Excuse me insert charity name of your choice but here is some money we made from some pimply faced boys watching porn on their mobiles - enjoy" Seems a desparate attempt to increase video streaming to attract advertisers but if medium is soft porn then what sort of advertisers are they going to attract? Maybe they use the same marketing company as Hell pizza (who by the way are the most overpriced overrated pizza I have ever tasted)	sam m (517)

586663	2007-09-01 08:17:00	What happened to having a mobile phone to make and receive phone calls - if I want to take photos I use a camera that gives a reasonable print, if I want to surf the net I use a computer with a broadband connection. If I want to make phone calls I try to use a landline because it is cheaper unless its bloody urgent, my mobile is for other people to call me if they wish and have money to waste. The phone companies are reaping a fortune from young people who don't relate the spending of money to the effort of earning it.	KenESmith (6287)

Considering datacharges that vodaphone extort from their users which is in the region of $10 per Mb, you could be paying hundreds of dollars to download the data in a small adult video . Who would want to . I absolutely agree - The charity idea is bull**** . There is no way that they would donate porn money to a charity - I bet their excuse will be . . . . "We will donate all profits less cost but unfortunately this service runs at a loss" - no one would know if they made a profit or not except them . I guess there will be a market for it, I didnt think anyone would pay for a ringtone (silly me) but appears that it is big business so I am sure those preteen / teens out there may be their target audience . Games, I can understand but to promote porn on a device that is probably more common than a computer is extraordinarily irresponsible . I have no doubt this is corporate greed as I would guess that a large portion of their customers will be easily influenced teenagers . This is just wrong and not necessary .	sam m (517)
