I've had my fair share of standing up in front of a group of strangers at work over the years and fielding difficult questions . . . . . some of the crap I spurted out was "dig a hole and hide in it" material . . . . I was best man at a mate's wedding years ago . . . . I didn't sleep for a week leading into it . Had to make The Speech, and with all the pressure from the genuinely funny people to meet the required "standard", it did my head in . Oddly, to this day I can't remember it . The last thing I remember is being introduced, and honestly I cannot remember making the speech . Apparently I pulled it off okay, but it's gone from my memory . Back to the hot blonde . Did she win? |
