And he will be sent to his death by a f****ing moron of an MP who apparently knows better than the bishop if the man is a christian or not. So he goes back home, silence falls, and months later the Sunday newspapers will pick up a story about the death of a christian in Iran. Surely if he can snap his fingers, twirl around, do a little jig and say "I'm a christian" and become a christian, he can do exactly the same and become a muslim again. By then everyone will have forgotten about it, and that MP will blame it on someone else. yet collectively as a country we reneged on the basic human right to life, and by incompetence and conceit a person died on our watch. Who really cares, he's an iranian, I suppose that means he's barely human. Who cares if he is iranian? He shouldn't get any better or worse treatment than any other immigrant. If he is of value to this country as defined by the laws that apply to all, great! He should be able to stay. But if he thinks that he's better than everyone else, and that he has a right to flout the rules then why should he stay? He doesn't have to be put to death in Iran, he can simply convert back to Islam and avoid the law there. Him going on a hungar strike is simply saying "I don't want your laws, you somehow owe me the right to stay, and if you don't I'll act like my death is your fault". Justice? |

Martynz As I said earlier, what he "seems to know" is just too bad to be true... Simply my opinion, of course. I don't want to stop the flood of argumenrs against his "bigot" views (so obviously designed to stir) while everyone's having fun tearing them apart. |
