You can try this - but no guarantees.

Clcik start, type in CMD, RIGHT click it, run as administrator.

type in netsh int ip reset logfile.txt ,<Press Enter> reboot and see what happens.

..DONE..also got the unidentified network error


That will repair/reset the TCP/Ip protocol, do this to make sure winsock is up and running well too-netsh winsock reset

763518 2009-04-14 04:15:00 yup...i have another devices from this country..they call it globe tatoo..a prepaid wireless device that allows you to connect to the internet wirelessly..well its prepaid..you pay 2o bucks for 1 hour..

it works like this: USB device -> pc = access to internet...

its working..

it works like this: USB device -> pc = access to internet...

its working..

that doesn't test the actual pc's network card, its just using the USB device to acces the internet, connect to a wireless network using your laptops wireless card and try...

763520 2009-04-14 04:41:00 Any XP I have ever installed uses Workgroup. I never came across MSHOME in any previous MS OS's until I did the first Vista install.

Yes, its XP Home that has MSHOME, XP Pro and Vista all use workgroup
