| 587279 | 2007-09-03 04:20:00 | Thats a pretty impressive statistic. Over 85% of people couldn't give a solitary f*ck about software for Macs Love it!!:D :p |

| 587282 | 2007-09-03 04:47:00 | Very much less apps than available for Windows and that is the whole point. But is the choice of 50,000+ Windows apps any better or just the same than the Mac equivalent for getting the job done? |

| 587283 | 2007-09-03 05:36:00 | Only used os9.2 but it was a sad little attempt at an OS and had pathetic versions of Windows apps, see WinAmp for example. Tried Netscape Mac version and it wouldn't run. Photoshop 5.5 and FreeHand 9 seemed ok though. Couldn't find Mac equivalents of most of the programs I wanted to use on the Mac. Don't know about OSX, heard that it is good though. | zqwerty (97) | ||

Since then things have been onwards and upwards for the various versions of OS X. The box representing 10,000+ apps would be an accurate measure of apps available for the Mac platform today. |

| 587285 | 2007-09-03 06:42:00 | You should really remember your pledge in a previous thread not to post in a winmacguy thread. Otherwise it would seem winmacguy has won and made you look like a fool again. Sorry Plod, I can't help it, I just get carried away, I am collecting all his replies and creating a database to see if he is something like Telecom's "answer girl" gone wrong. How long before we get an answer from him like "How long have you hated your mother" or suchlike?? Ken  |

Theres no way some crappy mac software made for about 5% of users is going to be able to match Windows stuff. I mean iPhone users are so desperate to get away from the utter crap Apple put on it, they are willing to physically risk their expensive (still crappy) phones. How good can that software be. |
