586329 2007-09-02 06:37:00 Not sure about the retail cost of Vista but Parallels 3 here www.parallels.com

Also you might want to look at VMWare here http://www.vmware.com/
Which according to reports is even better.

I just checked and it gave me a price for a 2nd copy of Parallels of $49.99. I cant remember the price for the original copy (its not on the box)
I have XP Pro loaded with 512 MB RAM allocated and it runs quite well.

586330 2007-09-02 07:32:00 I guess since the article is all about an Apple product would probably mean that beeswax34 avoided reading it. :p Even if it does contain useful and accurate information about the latest iMac.

I was actually talking about the review of the macbook pro.
Apple also got a few mentions on the top 100 products

Indeed it did, I also noticed some of the other 100 top rated products for 2007 were as follows;
Google No.1
iTunes Plus No.4
Parallels Desktop No.6
OS X 10.6 "Tiger" No.9
Apple TV No.11
XBox No.18
80GBiPod No.26
FireFox No.35
MS Office 2007 @ No.56
Creative Zen No.60
iTunes No.61

Vista sucked a big kumara and doesn't rate inside the top 100 (Shock horror:rolleyes: )

Most anticipated products
iPhone No.1
OS X 10.5 "Leopard" - October 2007 (No.5)

Not bad for a PC Mag. You can check it all out on pages 56-63

586333 2007-09-02 09:41:00 And this gives you a raging hard-on why?

Not a "raging hard on" as you put it so politely Metla, I just find it intriguing that a product that cost $9 billion and over 5 years to develop and is flouted as being a true "WOW" product is unable to make it into the TOP 100 voted products in its very own PC World magazine non the less, yet a product made by the opposition gets voted in inside the TOP 10 of that very same Microsoft supporting PC World magazine.
Not sure about you personally Metla, but if it was my flagship product failing to get a TOP 100 in my own industry promoting publication I'd be pretty unhappy about the whole deal, wouldn't you? Let alone having my ass kicked by the supposed pip squeak opposition...:annoyed:

Things must be a little bit different down in the back waters of Wanganui maybe...

586334 2007-09-02 09:55:00 Its not your flagship product.

Do you also campaign Tv guide with ratings for Shortland St?

Why are you so insecure as to be on a campaign to "bring down" MS and bolster Apple. You seem to be fighting a campaign against how you think people view MS.

And I have to admit, Wasting your time on such an anal and strange past time is well outside the realm of this back water hick.

It blurs your views so bad you cant even shut up when you have no idea what your talking about, You can't even recognize the event when your enlightened to a few facts.

And your directly on par with the mis-informed MS loving fools who post crap on Apple forums, If they had any idea about what they were talking about they too would know they were posting a boatload of rubbish and wouldn't bother. Either that or they would be trolls.

Your right Metla, it's not my flagship product, it's Microsoft's "flagship" product which according to the list isn't worthy of an NZ PC World's top 100 products of 2007 rating, in other words it's pretty un amazing and no one wants to buy it.

According to the Sunday Star times, TVNZ is having a few of it's top presenters poached by TV3 and has made its 6pm weatherman redundant and is suffering a viewship ratings crisis- less viewers means less advertising dollars- the station doesn't make a profit.

586336 2007-09-02 10:37:00 Sorry, I didn't realise you had totally flipped your lid.

If its so unamazing (for gods sake man, is their anything in this world more boring and unamazing then an OS?...wow, its a layer of software between my hard ware and applications....FAR OUT) then why are you unable to shut up about something you don't use.

Its as logical as me rounding up all the anti-mustang comments I can find and posting them (along with copious amounts of dribble) on an American muscle car forum...all from the comfort of my Toyota....which I would have to mention how good that is every 3 sentences.

Unless, Your just playing me, in which case well done.

I don't personally care about or care to use Vista, I am just surprised that PC World NZ doesn't either, but obviously things like that count for diddly squat in your neck of the woods.
