| 763729 | 2009-04-10 06:57:00 | I'm looking for a free picture editor/creator for creating some background pictures, and also for removing the white backgrounds from images. I was using photoshop elements 6 trial, but that has now ran out, and right now I don't really want to shell out $150+ for photoshop (although I may consider it in the future), so are there any free alternatives? | davidmmac (4619) | ||
| 763730 | 2009-04-10 07:44:00 | For removing the white background you can actually use word 07:p For creating images, I recommend GIMP: http://www.gimp.org/ You can try using GIMPShop if it helps make it fee more like Photoshop http://www.gimpshop.com/ Blam |

| 763736 | 2009-04-12 07:39:00 | Tried the Gimp but found it was a bit slow to respond to my actions, so I tried paint.net (as mentioned earlier) and it was much more responsive :) I put the gimps slow responsiveness down to my pc (see sig). |
