| 588442 | 2007-09-06 03:14:00 | I see that PressF1 has copped out and finally crumpled under the weight of stupid pissy advertisements and has put one of the most annoying and rude advertisements i have ever seen in the top right-hand corner of it's site. I'm getting really disgusted at seeing a fat, hairy man the size of a small building be presented to me every time i try to scroll up the page. Is their anyway of getting rid of this ? Using FireFox 2. |

| 588443 | 2007-09-06 03:16:00 | NoScript (addons.mozilla.org) I know works, I'm not sure if AdBlock (addons.mozilla.org) does with the peel-me. There have been another (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) few (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz) threads about that add....I personally have never seen it - courtesy of NoScript. :D |

IE tells me I must install Adobe Flash Player Active X which I assume is for the Peel Me advert. Um... I think I'll pass. The ad isn't there to begin with, it has to load. If you give it a minute or 2 in firefox, it loads up. I don't come to PressF1 to be victimised by pictures of fat, hairy, oily men with a pornographic grins on their faces whilst holding a 7yr old girl. |
