| 588436 | 2007-09-06 02:43:00 | I notice that goole is offering Staroffice rather than Openoffice in their googlepack does Staroffice still have its own browser (it used to years ago) I also had a read up on the differences between Star and Openoffice and there isn't a really compelling reason for me to switch, except that openoffice is telling me there is a newer version available which means another 200mb download (not a real problem), but i am thinking if i can get a version with a few extra bells and whistles then perhaps it would be worth downloading staroffice (about 200Mb) instead Is the database module different between Staroffice and openoffice? Does staroffice have the mozilla plugin (the one that allows you to view openoffice created files in mozilla based browsers) any suggestions are welcome, i managed to forget the central point of what I was asking half way through my typing, so any Star office users are welcome to give some feedback of their experiences Cheers |
