(www.foxnews.com) As ugly as these things are, I wonder how they get a date on Saturday night. I think they had these in NZ at one time, but they must have eaten some poisoned wetas or the mythical Tuataras and all died. |

That 'Chupacabra' is hideous! :lol: The tuatara has been classified as an endangered species since 1895[3][4] (the second species, S. guntheri, was not known until 1989).[2] Tuatara, like many of New Zealand's native animals, are threatened by habitat loss and the introduced Polynesian Rat (Rattus exulans). They were extinct on the mainland, with the remaining populations confined to 32 offshore islands,[5] until the first mainland release into the heavily fenced and monitored Karori Wildlife Sanctuary in 2005.[6] The name "tuatara" derives from the Māori language, and means "peaks on the back".[7] |

| 587906 | 2007-09-05 02:41:00 | Perhaps Joe meant the Taniwha, (en.wikipedia.org) anyway back to the story, why do these people throw away the bodies and only keep the heads of these animals, i mean surely keeping the body intact for a scientific analysis would make sense if you truley believed it was a Chupacabra, I mean *** if i found a dead loch ness monster in my back garden i wouldn't lop it's head off and get rid of the rest of it, i would let the scientist take samples etc, then sell the taxidermied pelt off to some rich American museum give the skeleton to the Southland Museum and freeze dry the rest of it and sell it off as an aphrodisiac , (although i would have to send all my advertising emails out via a different country,), or am I just being to logical Actually i am suprised no one has claimed Steve Fosset was abducted by aliens operating out of Area 51 yet |
