| 587737 | 2007-09-07 04:01:00 | Hahahahahaha....watch out Sol! When Deane F reads this he's gonna beat you with his book on feminism that he bought in his non-racist city of Christchurch where all the non-PC people that don't exist congregate to complain that they are the the downtrodden minority. Anyway, that was outstanding. And I will be bringing it to someone's attention. Your more a stirrer than I!....LOL, had that e-mailed and had to share! |

| 587739 | 2007-09-07 05:09:00 | Jonski: Oh, I forgot. You're new here. You haven't registered yet that "facts" are likely to be challenged, no matter what the subject. I'm new here, but I've been on usenet since 95. I know what I'm doing. I wonder if the reason nobody knows who I'm referring to is because that person is league, not union. Or everyone's thinking of the ABs. I never was that specific, they may be just a pro player, but whether union or league, it's all 'rugby'. You have a very dim view. Funny how you pay attention to the 'gay' part and nothing else. Maybe you were wishful thinking? No, I didn't start that. Some homophobe suggested I was gay to not like rubgy. I just replied that at least one pro player was Out and may take exception to their attitude. Me, I don't care what orientation anyone else is. The world is just a continuum of grey from black to white. I'm still interested in how to actually escape the rugby. There's not been much of that in this thread. Any suggestions anyone? Cheers |

Cheers Both Union and League are professional (full time professional salaries of varying amounts), Hopoate happens to play ( I think he still does) League. |

| 587741 | 2007-09-07 05:14:00 | There are plenty of openly gay league players, You can see a couple of em up Oxford St on any given Saturday night. Not exactly news, besides, Your clutching at straws. People who want to avoid the topic of rugby don't start threads about rugby, perhaps you were merely looking for attention? |

Cheers As was correctly suggested at the beginning of this thread - take a vacation to the middle east - they play football (aka soccer) there and the next world cup is a few years away. Your living in the wrong country if your wanting to avoid hearing about Rugby for the next 3-4 weeks. |

| 587744 | 2007-09-07 09:10:00 | A lengthy tramping trip through one of our wilderness areas may be your best option, Jonski. I guess you've already spent a lot of time there - or you'd know a fact I first learned as a very small girl. Even someone uninterested in the game should know enough about the overall NZ psyche not to say things like: whether union or league, it's all "rugby." Without wanting to knock the Warriers - Oh no, it is not. |
