| 587379 | 2007-09-04 07:56:00 | I am not a Christian, but I do have Euro/Judao/Christian values and feel that churches such as Destiny do play a part in keeping that alive seeing as how the Catholic and Anglican churches are diminishing. Destiny do do good work amongst their congregations teaching them values and hard work etc etc. Harry Potter should be the state religion. It gives me confidence to stand up to my fears, be true to my friends, and how to use a wand properly. Those values are just as good, if not better, than any christian "values" (including, but not limited to, terrorism, hate crimes and propaganda :) ) |

They are the actions of crazed individuals who may or may not have a following. They are actions that may or may not be done in the name of any religion, or sports group for that matter. Even in the time when Catholics were being represented in Spain by blood thirsty sadistic murderers who justified their presence by calling their invasion of Spain an "Inquisition", i some how dought that the average Catholic back home would have wanted their boys out there killing and torturing over half a country because they dared to say "no" to Catholicism. One should never judge the greater masses by the actions of the mad extremists. Just imagine how bad NZ must look to the Iraqi public who see all "westerners" in the same light as the yanks who have just invaded their country! |
