| 587371 | 2007-09-03 08:57:00 | I'm pretty sure Bishop Brian isn't even religious. He just found a very good marketing tool(the poor, the wanting) , formed a company(called it god) and now is raking it in. | plod (107) | ||
| 587372 | 2007-09-03 17:47:00 | Bad poll options where is the third one - Leave them here ! I am not a Christian, but I do have Euro/Judao/Christian values and feel that churches such as Destiny do play a part in keeping that alive seeing as how the Catholic and Anglican churches are diminishing. Destiny do do good work amongst their congregations teaching them values and hard work etc etc. Regards Digby |

Destiny do do good work amongst their congregations teaching them values and hard work etc etc. Why should it be kept alive? Time to lose superstitions, not encourage them. And Destiny make their members tithe. Tough luck if you are poor. Must keep Mr Bishop in expensive toys and a flash house now. He was in the news some time ago for telling a beneficary lady she should still pay even though she couldn't afford to feed her kids properly - because "God will provide". Funny how churches never say that to themselves......... |

| 587378 | 2007-09-04 04:05:00 | Why dosent Tamaki stay with maori gods and leave our European one alone isnt anything scared anymore?. tedheath I thought Christianity is for everyone? Christians dominated over the Pacific and introduced (a much nicer word than shoved) Christian religion to Pacific Islanders. Tamaki is just exploiting people's naiveness. It's a disgraceful thing; Tamaki probably doesn't even believe in god. If he did, he wouldn't be doing what he is doing. |
