| 590431 | 2007-09-25 13:19:00 | Mine (www.imagef1.net.nz) (235 KB) That background is a photo I took of the 'Forgotten highway', which I accidentally drove along for 150km before realising my mistake and turning around, last time I drove from Auckland to Wellington (I was trying to take a shortcut, it ended up being an 11 hour trip). |

Sorry to dredge that up, but it takes me a good 3 secs to load that pic. Don't come bitching to us if you havn't got broadband. I seem to remember a poll a while back, correct me if im wrong, but I believe there is about a 16-to-1 ratio of broadband users to dial-up users on this forum, you are hardly in a majority. :2cents: |

I've heard about that road, where exactly is it? |

Taking SH4 is a shortcut, but I ruined it with the 3-4 hour round trip along the good old forgotten highway :) It's really beautiful for the first half, and there's a fascinating cliff that has a constant mini-landslide going on. You have to see it to know what I mean. |
