Interesting place to have your dock located up at the top of the screen like that.
The most ironic thing I find with Windows Vista is that in theory if you have you apps located in the dock then why do you need to then have your windows reduced separately in another part of the screen like double handling something- why not have them stay with the dock to keep things clean and simple since all apps should be able to be opened/closed or resized from within the dock?
(must admit I don't think that "clean and simple" has ever been part of Microsoft's GUI design plans, more like trying to be a jack of all trades and master of none)

Note: I have closed my three forget-me-not widget notes, which are located in the middle of the screen. :p

Cheers :)

590419 2007-09-22 19:16:00 Here's my default desktop as it normally is. If you compare the two you will notice that Vista doesn't use the Dock for its reduced windows as OS X does which makes things more cluttered than they need to be, especially with folder icons all over the desktop.

From what I have seen of Vista, it seems to the default for the desktop seems to be more cluttered than it needs to be, like they were trying to copy OS X but had to drag XP along for the ride.
