In adulthood I talked to his mother (my aunt/fostermother) about the experiences I had in those years on the farm, and she said "Oh yes, the men were terrible teases in those days". It was about then that I also found that my sainted aunt thought Robt Muldoon was "a lovely man". So the illusions of childhood are slowly stripped away... All this happened just down the road from where Cicero lives, so this probably explains some of his views on life, the universe, and everything. It is probably a cultural thing. |

| 590355 | 2007-09-14 03:19:00 | One day mum had picked me up after school and we started driving out of town. I turned to mum and said "Hey mum, where are we going?" She didn't look at me and said with a straight face "I've had enough of your bad behaviour, i have your clothes in the boot and I'm taking you to live with your grandma and grandad". My face lost all expression, i went cold and pale. For the next 45mins during the drive i was as scared as i ever was, and ever will be. My mother was giving me away to my grandparents!! When we got to my grandparents she tells me that she was just joking that she had no intention of leaving me there. From that day on i was still a little **** at home but i shut my mouth and stopped doing whatever trouble i was causing whenever my father would threaten me with "Or we will send you away". |
