2007-09-08 09:52:00 | Now that's out of the way.... .....I do agree to some points in that article. Rugby isn't what is was, and although I support the AB's and always will, some level of enjoyment has gone. The WC should be limited to those playing Nations who have earned a right to be there, through ability, history and a "national culture". Georgia, Namibia and the USA (for example) have no right to be there. Presently. Is rugby is "crisis"? IMHO no it isn't. Does it need a damn good makeover? Hell yes! But that doesn't alter it's importance and (admittedly dwindling) entertaining value to a lot of people. Some people don't like it. Don't watch it. Don't see any point in it. Fair enough. I feel the same way about League and state housing. And when 4327 turn up to a stadium that seats 80,000 to watch a World Cup match, I will concede a point.

2007-09-08 20:37:00 | Well Aus looked pretty good against Japan but England only beat USA 28-10! | CYaBro (73) | |
2007-09-08 20:47:00 | I have to say even though england is a half pie team at the moment I was impressed with the USA. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | |
2007-09-08 21:44:00 | Heres an interesting scenario after Argentina beat France . I think France will beat Ireland and then Ireland will beat Argentina - you can disregard the whipping boys Namibia and Georgia . So if all the top 3 teams tie then its all about bonus points, or even more interesting it could come down to points differential so it's still pretty unclear who will meet the AB's . Argentina could still miss out!

2007-09-08 23:15:00 | Well Aus looked pretty good against Japan but England only beat USA 28-10! As the Japanese are only half the Aussies size, it's no contest really. Put them up against South Africa then you will see a difference.
