| 765369 | 2009-04-15 23:56:00 | My personal favourite is Freenas, but you can try out OpenFiler (www.openfiler.com/) and ClarkConnect (http:) | Blam (54) | ||

| 765372 | 2009-04-16 04:06:00 | wonderful system xD Now in regards to sharing and mount points.... Im using esx3i server, to virtualise FreeNAS, with 512MB RAM, and a 120MB system drive. i want to create a 20GB Media drive, so i added it into the disks management, which is fine. now how would i go about making the shares: music, photos and videos? I figured out how to make one share called media, but i want seperate shares instead. do i need to create a mountpoint? or am i doing it wrong? |

| 765374 | 2009-04-16 09:33:00 | ok i used a VM to test it all out and its good, so i thought i would put it on a real machine, It wont go on, i get to the screen with the boot loader choices, then after a minute of processing, it restarts the machine. Its a HP DX6100 MT very decent, i dont know whats wrong |
