| 766438 | 2009-04-20 00:14:00 | Did you make a seperate partition for Ubuntu? Try the method here:] support.microsoft.com If that doesn't work you will need to perform a repair install. Blam |

| 766439 | 2009-04-20 00:19:00 | This was exactly what I did: Went into Recovery Console Entered bootcfg /rebuild It said an error occured Entered fixboot Nothing happened Entered chkdsk Detected and fixed 1 error Again entered chkdsk, just to be sure Then entered bootcfg /rebuild again Succeeded Now has 3 boot entries; they were: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows XP Professional & Ubuntu. Tried both Microsoft Windows XP Professional entries, same error occured (Windows could not start because of an error in software. Please report this problem as: Load needed DLLs for kernel. Please contact your support person to report this problem.) Tried booting into Ubuntu, and failed! Please h-e-l-p me! |

| 766446 | 2009-04-20 01:12:00 | How exactly did you install it on the same partition as XP? If you cant fix it, you'll probably have to reformat |
