There are a score of other countries that could be rescued for the reasons that the US "rescued" the Iraqis from (think Africa), but that hasn't happened. And will never either. There's Israel of course. But the position that the US is in, it was inevitable. It is so very dependent on oil, it just could not stand by. Everything is oil in the US. They are doomed to be dependent on the stuff. So is NZ, Australia, most of Europe and Asia.... |
