591256	2007-09-14 20:48:00	it's certainly not alarmist crap it's for real........why do you think theres so many more 'allergies' etc showing up in the kids these days......if you did watch it you'd have seen that experiment with the kids and how much their behaviour changed so fast when fed 'junk' food.......also it's quite sensible.....if you mix a whole lot of chemicals what happens ? no-one knows !!! scary really.	drcspy (146)

I found it to be quite informative. The schoolyard test results (while unofficial and unclinical) still gave food for thought. Darn it. I meant to have watched that and missed it. :(It was a good watch, went through things like Aspartamine[?] (the sugar substitute in things like Diet Coke), MSG, as well as preservatives etc. Very informative, somewhat disturbing the sh*t that goes into SOME of our food	Myth (110)

I know it was based on the cocktail of additives, am not sure whether they tested them singly. I have seen how some children react to more chocolate, or cola and other coloured drinks than they are used to. Watch out party time!! I don't want to spoil the fun, (I do eat the red smarties last:) ) but we do need to be aware.....everything in moderation! Cheers, Marnie	Marnie (4574)

Allergies are probably the result of not getting outside and getting dirty like they used to and the prevalence of antibacterial household cleaners. As for their behaviour, I've seen the exact opposite too on another show about food and the affects.	pctek (84)
