| 766147 | 2009-04-23 03:16:00 | Oh, I get it haha :) heres what it says Windows File Protection could not initiate a scan of protected system files. The Specific error code is 0x000006ba [The RPC server is unavailable. Heres what my device manager looks like: I got this error trying to install a printer on one of my PCs recently.. I don't know what caused the problem (yet) but it might have been Comodo. Do you have any protection programs etc running? You could try turning them all off or installing the drivers in safe mode? I have had experience with Comodo blocking a program where I thought my PC had a virus. I had "block all unknown application requests when firewall is closed" turned on, I had booted in safe mode, and tried to run MSCONFIG. It was not in the allowed list, and Comodo wasn't running since I was in safe mode, so Comodo blocked it (as I had told it to) and I got an error message. |
