| 766198 | 2009-04-20 21:18:00 | You *can* do a little bit of work and easily find out where the issue lies. First off, grab WinMTR and run two tests. One to your ISP's website, another to TradeMe. Each time let it do around 25-50 runs. Do this for 3 days, 3x a day (Say around breakfast, lunch & dinner if you can). I say 3 days so that you can make sure at least one day is a weekday. You'd be surprised what a difference it can make. If you're unable to be at your PC, try using the Task Scheduler. Also, contact your ISP, find out the speed in which you're connected to the ADSL Exchange at. You can also review your modem, better quality modems can sometimes improve speeds / connection reliability no end :) Let us know how you get on Cheers Chill. |
