766115 2009-04-19 04:13:00 system restore it to before you installed the mouse drivers if you are able too and have the mouse unplugged then re plug it once its booted

I tried that and it recognized the mouse as a logitech one but then it came up with this again:
Windows could not load the installer for Mouse.Contact your hardware vendor for assistance

Try reinstalling the drivers:

I tried installing them but it keeps telling me it cannot install them due to virus scanners etc even when they are turned off (windows firewall off aswell)

Thanks for your replies :)

766122 2009-04-19 23:47:00 Try the method posted in the 3d post here (forums.logitech.com).

Create a system restore point and backup the driver to your desktop incase something goes wrong

Cheers

Thanks blam, I tried that but it still will not install
I'm just wondering why it works on the laptop without the need for setpoint.
Is it possible to copy the driver folder from the laptop to the desktop in system 32?

Cheers :)
