592202 2007-09-18 03:23:00 Am I able to do anything about it? Is it during the hours where I have no option but to listen to it? Hes not very approachable and not someone I want to get angry.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh he's just played the same song again for the 4th time!!!!!!

Call Noise Patrol (The Council) they should be able to sort him out or shut him down.

592203 2007-09-18 03:28:00 You need to find someone who is really big and beefy (hire him from a local gym) and have him go over saying that he stays at your place and works nights .

If he doesn't get his sleep he starts hearing voices in his head to kill the people who upset him . He doesn't want to go back to prison for it and have another death on his conscience, so please try and be quiet . . . .

592204 2007-09-18 03:44:00 Just ask him to turn it down, He probaly has no idea how loud it is on your side. Metla (12)
592205 2007-09-18 03:44:00 Call Noise control.(via the local council)
He'll get one warning then they come with the cops & take his stereo.(had it happen may years ago, in an industrial area!!!)
I dont think the time of day matters any more for noise control.
Keep calling noise controll untill he gets the idea

Also works for neighbours with air compressors running on & off all day.

592206 2007-09-18 04:27:00 Playing Abba wont help he will listen it cool band band.
You are buggered with the noise control act he can play it resonably loud until 10pm.
You will just have to start getting even. Try as suggested putting speaker near wall and playing Barry Manilow not Abba and go out.
You may have to get sneaky coin or throw brake fluid on his car, put sugar in his petrol tank, slash his tyres.
Find out where he works and tell his boss. Find out about his parents and grand parents and ring them. Check if he is doing drugs and ring police. Is he on a benefit and working or rooting out of watch ring WINZ and dob him in
With a bit of concerted action he will get the hint and turn his sounds off.

Doesn't sound like a Metla answer to me - is it for real?

592208 2007-09-18 05:37:00 Simple...I've got some BIG mates who will come with you - wander over there, smash the stereo to bits with a sledge hammer, threaten to do the same to his head & I bet you won't hear that 'rap krap' again - problem solved. :-) fnphoto (2434)

592210 2007-09-18 05:42:00 Do you own or rent the unit?
If you rent, does your neighbour have the same landlord?
If he does then have a word with the landlord.

592211 2007-09-18 05:48:00 Buy some loud speakers...get some music that's completely different to rap...as soon as he stops, you start.

Problem solved, now we have two angry neighbors.
