You have reached the limit of secret keeping on this system!". This was repeated with several flash drives. I scanned for virus and malware but found nothing. Reinstalled from an Acronis image and all is well. I have never had this happen before, has anyone experienced the same thing? System is XPpro SP2. |

Sometimes depending on what programs you are using to scan for malware, and what AV you have, the infections will be missed, or more to the point, the software cant detect them. Some of that junk is very good at hiding - What I'd suggest, is NOW scan your flash drives - just in case. I have had several customers PC's that when a flash drive is attached, instantly the infections are transfered to the drive. |
