591797 2007-09-16 20:30:00 Having seen the advert with the ford car a few times (the one complained about by Fod as bad press). I am puzzled about the spinning wheel when the car ends up on its roof.

If the driving wheel is the front drivers side wouldn't it still be spinning fast as the engine is running? It seems to be just spinning a few rotations.

I wonder if it might have been pushed off the edge without the engine on.

591799 2007-09-16 21:03:00 That add is poorly made. Any one of us who drives cars (quickly), or has done any track racing will know thats not how a car would behave in that situation. And the fact the he braked and locked the wheels up shows he should have done a defencive driving course!! :yuck:  You accelerate out of a situation like that. If someone drives like that, they shouldn't be on the road. wratterus (105)

591801 2007-09-16 21:35:00 the message behind the new ad:

1 Dont drive fords cause they tend to spin out and flip onto their roof and crumple a bit

2 don't drive in places with land mines appearing on the roads

common sense!

besides if they did it with a holden or a Toyota or a Kia their respective company's would go batsh1t all the same - whop de doo

591803 2007-09-16 22:34:00 Bottom line is don't drive a ford they are rubbish for those who might have stayed up late last night the sandown 500 was on and the first car into the garage with brake problems was yip you gussed it a ford. Eight fords didn't finish the race due to mechanical problems, There were only three HOLDENS that didn't finish the race.

I better defend myself on this part before somone jumps on me and says YER but who won the race i know it was a ****ty ford but if mark skaife wasnt ill after his operation id say HOLDEN would have won it. HOLDEN came second which happened to be rick kelly and now he leads the championship over his team mate garth tander.HOLDEN RULZ.

591804 2007-09-16 23:15:00 Please note
This is not a drink driving advert.
It's a going too fast around corners advert.
To end it's a waste of 2 million dollars.
