I have seen cases made out of Wood, Fish Tanks, Cardboard Boxes, old Army Ammo boxes, go on, you can do it.

766843 2009-04-21 09:24:00 Wait, you're telling me that you guys build cases out of Wood, Fish Tanks, Cardboard Boxes, old Army Ammo boxes? *FAINT*

Some people in this world are not... "advanced" enough to that type of stuff, so please can we talk about cases that are built with metals and plastic?

I thought the Thermaltake M9D had cheap plastic on the side and door?

A case in reality is just to keep the PC looking tidy in most cases.

Many years ago Ultra Computers on Nth Shore had their main test computer in the workshop was just mounted on a block of wood. It had self tapping screws holding the motherboard down and various screws and hose clamps holding other bits together.

I have set one up like this in similar fashion and it works just fine.

I like this one:- www.pugetsystems.com
