| 594041 | 2007-09-22 11:44:00 | Hi all, I've recently completed my BTech IT degree at the University of Auckland, and I'm thinking of doing a coursework based Master of IT degree in Australia. Mainly because I want to do a master myself, and I don't really like the research based degree that the UoA has to offer. Also, it seems quite hard for a graduate to find a job in NZ, even though there are hundreds of IT related jobs on websites like Seek. I am actually quite surprised to find that there are so many human resource companies in NZ, some even dedicated to just IT jobs. But they all want some form of experience, and graduate opportunities are very rare. I wonder if anyone have any recommendations and/or suggestions regarding studying in Australia? Right now I'm thinking of applying for the University of Sydney, primarily because their MIT degree only takes one year, and I believe Sydney is a very big city with a lot of potentials when I graduate. Thanks. |

There are plenty of IT jobs going in Brisbane, and I would suggest it would be a good idea to contact QUT, they have some excellent IT Degrees. |
