| 592144 | 2007-09-18 21:53:00 | Pronunciation guide for Joe: Colloquial: "pa-ta-nu-ee" Strict(-ish) Maori pronunciation: "pa-wa-ta-ha-nu-ee" :D :D :D BTW Joe - Pauatanui is in the general area of the Porirua harbour (harbor) . . . Those names are kinda strange . . but when I was in high school in New Jersey many moons ago . . . . . . There was a Czechoslovakian student by the name of Slava Harlamohr who fell madly in love with a girl in my Social Studies class . . . her name was Hephzibah Schlierbeck . He carved their names on a tree: "Slava Harlamohr Loves Hephzibah Schlierbeck" . . . and the tree died . He later married a pretty girl by the name of Tondalleho Tunderschmutt . I think his tree-killing days were behind him by that time though . |

I remember in the late '80's, about the time of "Rogernomics", when David Lange and others of his ilk were trumpeting gleefully that farming was a sunset industry. One of my neighbours, a sheep farmer, referred to sheep as "land lice". |

Bulletin: Phil Specter trial is hung in a 7-5 deadlock and the judge is re-instructing the jury to try for an involuntary murder instead of second degree and re-panel itself and seek an unanimous verdict. Nah, we can handle little things like that. People in Western States could be a bit surprised when they woke up and found that they had real electricity available. Imagine, electric razors that can cut whiskers instead of bending them back and forth 'til they snap off. Porirua Harbour would be somewhere in Oregon, to their mutual amazement. At least the dogs would have no language barriers. |

I need more drugs . BULLETIN: OJ is now charged with seven (7) felonies including kidnapping which in itself is a lifetime prison sentence and a gross misdemeanor . He said he was looking for the killers . |
