| 767783 | 2009-04-23 10:00:00 | Two things you can try- Open word, on the Click on the big button top left with the MS symbol, look in the right hand side, near the bottom, "word options" - Click that, under popular, try changing the color. Example (www.imagef1.net.nz) - see what happens. If that doesn't work - in the same options, go down to " Resources" -run the Diagnostics, follow prompts see if word can repair its self, may take a reboot once its done Example here (www.imagef1.net.nz) Edited: are the rest of your graphics Ok, Eg look of Folders, desktop etc ? Edited 2 what OS are you running Vista or XP ? Also found this : from here - exact same problem (www.eggheadcafe.com) Problem: It was caused by Windows defaulting to the SMS Mirror Driver instead of the ATI driver for the video card. The SMS Mirror Driver is installed with the SMS Agent, it handles video acceleration for the SMS Remote Control Agent. Resolution: This can be fixed by opening Device Manager and removing or disabling the SMS Mirror driver. Restarting the system then allows Windows to load using the correct video card driver. The SMS Remote Control Agent still worked properly, and the Office 2007 now looks like it's supposed to look. |

| 767788 | 2009-04-23 10:55:00 | I know what might fix it -- it's running in 256 colour mode. Right-click Word, go to Compatibility, see if Run in 256 colours is ticked. Edit... Oops, didn't see you resolved it :) |
