767487 2009-04-22 10:45:00 Depends on the airflow of the case. What have you got? qazwsxokmijn (102)
767488 2009-04-22 10:46:00 i have got a trendsonic wizard. But am going to upgrade to either the coolermaster storm scout or the haf 932 Openingfuel (14473)
767489 2009-04-22 11:51:00 I heard the HAF932 has excellent airflow. qazwsxokmijn (102)
767490 2009-04-22 17:14:00 100% full tower with good cooling to get rid of the heat and to fit them in as well!!!

HAF932 has some good reviews on the internet.

It would be cheaper to just buy one of these instead of buying 3 x 260GTX's:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 285 1GB
or a
Nvidia Geforce GTX 295 1792MB

What cpu are you going to use?
And how much ram are you going to have as well?

I am going to use the Q6600 with the v8 or perhaps water cooling. And ill keep using the 4gbs of ram i already have.

767493 2009-04-23 01:45:00 Unless you have at least 6k to spend on a PC tri SLI is a massive waste.

Who needs more than one GTX 295 anyway? Much more sensible than even a standard SLI setup.

I've only got a GTX 260 and it plays anything I can throw at it at max settings at 1920*1080, depending on the game at anywhere between 30FPS (crysis) and 100 FPS (COD4).

Only go for tri SLI if you want to get a properly mean watercooling setup for the cards.

767494 2009-04-23 04:10:00 Openingfuel:PC at the moment:
Case: trendsonic wizard Cpu: q6600 @2.4ghz Motherboard: ga ep35-ds3r Graphics card: sapphire HD 4850 Hard drive: 320gb RAM: 4gb 800mhz

That's a pretty good set up as it is!!!:)That set up should be able to play games sweet as!!!

You could just add another 4850 graphics card for Crossfire for a quick cheaper upgrade.:)

Or sell the 4850 you have now and just get one good graphics card.

Ps Is there really any need to upgrade what you have or just a want to factor?
Maybe a better mouse, keyboard, new 24'' monitor, ups,a back up harddrive would be better instead.:):2cents:
