| 592287 | 2007-09-18 04:32:00 | Just saw these two articles on the Herald website...thought you lot would be interested... www.nzherald.co.nz The second one (below) is more about adobe software not being ready for Leopard. www.nzherald.co.nz |

| 592288 | 2007-09-18 05:06:00 | The first one only affects Windoze and the 2nd one is no big deal although possibly more Adobe's fault than Apple's. I use CS3 now on 10.4 with no obvious problems. I would say that most pro Mac users and publishers would be happy on 10.4 with either CS2 or CS3 and will wait a while before they upgrade their OS to 10.5 (note that a hardware upgrade is not required when just upgrading the OS on a Mac unless your hardware was needing an upgrade.) | winmacguy (3367) | ||
| 592289 | 2007-09-18 08:24:00 | Don't you just love New Zealand Herald reporting. They don't even tell you the name of the exploit in the first case. How are we supposed to know their reporting is accurate, or if reading the article a month from now, whether it has since been fixed? As for the second link, it is talking about changes "which could lead to incompatibility issues", not that there are security holes that won't be fixed before release. They are talking about an operating system that isn't due out for another month yet, so it really isn't all that relevant to anyone other than beta testers. |

The NZ Herald Staff writers seem to have a propensity for Mac based FUD. |

So when companies weren't ready for Vista, its MS' fault yet when they aren't ready for OS???, its the individual co's fault is it?? Whose double standards are FUDing who eh? |
