2017-07-23 10:31:00 | Hi I'm getting this issue where my laptop disconnects from internet for some time say 1min and then comes reconnects back and it works fine again . I have seen this before with previous router .Also the signal bar is bit jumpy from time to time meaning it goes up and down when the signal is very strong . At the moment it is around -38 . Another issue is Video is buffering when streaming videos from youtube . It starts of then say after 5mins or 10 mins the wheel starts spinning . Sometimes it does'nt buffer but sometimes it does . I have done bit of testing and i found only this pc is affected . My tablet and smartphone works fine. I can stream youtube and browse without any disconnection or buffering . Please help me out Thanks

2017-07-23 21:13:00 | There are several different kinds of wi-fi and wi-fi devices, some laptops particularly older ones just have slow old hardware. Then there's the fact that some wi-fi devices and some routers just don't work well together. Try a speed test right next to the router and then at a few different spots around the house, just to get an Idea of how good it can be at best and what you are actually getting in practice. It could be updates as suggested, but if not maybe a usb wi-fi adapter might be a solution.

That's on an the default update mode, meaning it will start when the computer starts and updates will come through when MS put them out. You can pause updates if you wanted, by going into the updates and Security - Advanced options - then turn on Pause. This will stop updates for 35 Days, then they will download again on their own. |

2017-07-23 23:57:00 | Hi I'm getting this issue where my laptop disconnects from internet for some time Another issue is Video is buffering when streaming videos from youtube . It starts of then say after 5mins or 10 mins the wheel starts spinning . Sometimes it does'nt buffer but sometimes it does . Sounds like your laptop has some wifi hardware/software issues . turn off power save on the wifi device (in device manager) , uninstall any 3rd party wifi management software: laptops sometimes come with the brands own wifi management software . You may need to just use a USB wifi dongle , at least for testing or, the wifi signal isnt good & the laptop cant cope - are you in the same room as the wifi router ? try that & see if it helps - there may be something causing interference , it may be the laptop is less resilient with poor wifi than your other devices - youtube simply is not perfect . Buffering is sometimes a fact of life when I watch youtube . For me, Mostly its OK, sometimes I get buffering . Some days are quite bad, I just leave it & its OK the next day . Could be as simple as YouTube not delivering the stream to the laptop from the best YT server .

2017-07-24 00:31:00 | Real easy check: Cable your laptop Does the issue persist with the buffering etc? Yes? Then the problem is not the WiFi, it could be your laptop itself having issues No? Then the problem is the WiFi, probably on the laptop itself
