| 1437505 | 2017-07-23 04:58:00 | Wanted to buy some mince meat, walked into a near by butcher shop in East Auckland and the first thing strike my eyes was the mouldy glass shelves! The meat display shelves are arranged in a U-shape and mould are grown along the edges of the U-shape shelves --- just disgusting! Looked around, another display strike my eyes -- this time is the big 'A' Grade Certificate hanging on the wall. WHAT A JOKE! We are certainly in a 3rd World country, no doubt about it. I walked out immediately, of course, didn't buy anything. |

| 1437514 | 2017-07-24 01:16:00 | So was the certificate current? Did you check? [ ... ] I find the ratings generally accurate and a great idea. If they're policed. A popular but downmarket coffee shop chain usually situated frequently close to The Warehouse shops, was closed by Auckland Council inspectors a year or two back. The closure was supposed to be for 2 weeks, but this shop continued to flagrantly display their 'A' certificate in the very front window facing the busiest mall concourse in Auckland. Complaints to Council this shop was continuing to trade in spite of the closure notice, and continuing to display the 'A' certificate, met with apathy from Council. After all, their job was done. They'd inspected, found fault, and issued a closure notice. Next, please. :( |
