1437097 2017-07-13 11:37:00 Hi, I downloaded a wondershare program the other day which I have since uninstalled (but not completely by the looks of it)
I now get this pop up appearing "ws helper.exe" every time I launch my google chrome browse
How can I get rid of it..I have run my malwarebytes program on it but its still showing up

1437098 2017-07-13 20:59:00 Try Revo Uninstaller Bryan (147)
1437099 2017-07-13 21:18:00 Since it's already been uninstalled and if Revo has not been used there will be remnants still there

Run c-cleaner if you already have not(clean up plus Registry clean) ,run Junkware Removal Tool www.malwarebytes.com

Also AdwCleaner www.malwarebytes.com

Clean temp files from your Browser

See if it cleans it up

reset/default chrome . Its under advanced options

then, in this order (after trying the malware scanners above, all set to max , not a quickscan)

have a look in ad/remove programs. There may be other crap that wondershare installed (look at date installed)
have a close look at the chrome shortcuts, sometimes the crap gets added into the actual shortcuts . right click & look at what the shortcut runs
eg Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe , NOT "Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe xxxx"
reset internet to defaults (control panel)
look at whats in the scheduled tasks
do a search through the registry for wondershare & wshelper etc

*** when running those malware scanners above, you MUST MUST disable the AV temporarily
