Mass Re-afforestation to soak up carbon and to produce more rainfall where it is needed. (eg in the deserts) Immediate starting of population reduction by forced sterilisation of all women (in every country) after two children. (This would be no great hardship) Holding emissions to 5% of whatever is not going to cut it. In the meantime millions of people are being born who need power and fuel and will want a car etc. |

This change over is starting to happen and it will rapidly increase over the next 10 years. All new Volvo cars will have electric engines in them soon. The price of manufacturing electric cars is rapidly coming down to the point where they will be cheaper than petrol cars. (They should be already but the manufacturers are being greedy R&D?) Huge investment is going into to solar, and wind power all over the world. It won't be long before more power is produced in these ways than by coal or oil etc. |

A Volvo, no way, Mercedes have got it sorted, you don’t have to wait all day at a Service Station to charge the damn thing either.
