Absolutely, give them the chance to prove themselves, instead of writing them all off like Double Dipton has.

If fact have a read of this, very interesting opinion piece

1437696 2017-07-27 10:36:00 Its all about getting ahead, if you want to stay on low wages in an unskilled job dont whinge to me about it see the padre. For people not working I resent my taxes going to to pay filth to stay at home drink piss, on rent subsidies, smoke ciggies, do drugs, use the money for cars and motorbikes, spend it on fizzy drinks, chips and takeaway food, bet at the TAB or gamble at casinos or pokies, spend large amount of money on funerals and headstones, giving money to the church, having large families with illegitimate children prefect (6291)
1437697 2017-07-27 10:44:00 And a government that doesn't support the importation of cheap labour to drive down wages and conditions!!!!

And a government that encourages its poor and disadvantaged to get an education and training and not to sit at home on their arse while we import cheap labour.

And a government that does not encourage poor people to have children when they cannot afford them.

Absolutely, give them the chance as Labour want to, instead of the current bunch of trough-snouters policy of dehumanising them.

I just read that article, and its all very laudable and utopia like.
But if that family is now well housed and fed, where is the incentive for them to get off welfare and get a good paying job so that they can bring up a familiy themselves?

With a living wage these will no longer be underpaid jobs, as you should be able to figure out for yourself!
