To sum it up, it's either the Certificate issuing Officer is not doing his/her job or there's corruption (or sort of) along the line, or both. And, to confirm that we are in a 3rd world country. |

Complaints to Council this shop was continuing to trade in spite of the closure notice, and continuing to display the 'A' certificate, met with apathy from Council. After all, their job was done. They'd inspected, found fault, and issued a closure notice. Next, please. :( They do publish it on their website. They do close places. There was an article in the local rag not so long ago, listing a couple, and who were repeat offenders. New Lynn KFC I remember cheated by putting their old cert up, but it was discovered. Anyway, go to another place, if people don't buy, they don't last. Look at the Mad Butchers, they often had dodgy meat and people know it, well a lot do, now they're going broke. |

When the meat is so off even the local cats wont eat it... I remember a lunchbar/shop near my work that got the lowest rating . It was even in papers . They still had alot of customers turning up each day , I guess most dont notice or dont care . Of much more importance is bakeries displaying old Pie Awards they won. Well, best mince pie award 2 years back, had to buy one. One of the worst pies Ive ever had. Wheres the pie police when you need them :) How can almost every local bakery get a pie award ? |
