1437400 2017-07-23 06:35:00 There's always Bleachbit, which is quite similar. I use it, but not as often as CCleaner. Not sure why that is, because Bleachbit does useful extra things like a Vacuum function for Firefox. rumpty (2863)
1437401 2017-07-23 09:38:00 I use Ccleaner regularly. Hope Avast don't mess it up and add there usual upgrade nags.
Also I use Ashampoo Winoptimizer which is a good cleaner. A free version is available Here:

1437402 2017-07-25 10:06:00 Very disappointing news. I like CCleaner for its ease of use. 4 years ago I tried Avast Anti virus and was very disappointed with it.
I shall watch updates very closely and now ,instead f deleting existing version when a new one comes out I too shll retain the version I was happy with
