1436762 2017-07-01 02:04:00 Further investigation shows that there's another error in the Event viewer -> Windows logs -> System :

"The CldFlt service failed to start due to the following error:
The request is not supported "

Google says it has something to do with log on password.

My Windows 10 has been working OK since I replaced the SSD and reinstalled Win 10 not too long ago in May 2017.

1436763 2017-07-01 02:49:00 You can try the suggestion in Post #3 from www.tenforums.com

The problems may also be related to hardware, the shutting down _ Often if a Computer just suddenly shuts down the Power is the first thing you look at, esp if there are no BSOD.

1436764 2017-07-01 03:42:00 Your above link worked. Changed the value from 2 to 4 clears the the error. Thanks

I am also worried that it might be the PSU. My Corsair RM750i is pretty new - it was a warranty replacement of my old HX750.

The restarting was like pressing the RESET button.

1436765 2017-07-01 03:49:00 Hope it's just a 'one off' and won't happen again. bk T (215)
1436766 2017-07-01 08:30:00 Let's come back to the 'bingweather' error, is there any possible solution to it? bk T (215)
1436767 2017-07-01 10:43:00 Did you run the app trouble shooter ( as posted earlier) --If so what did it say ? wainuitech (129)
1436768 2017-07-01 11:57:00 Ran Trouble shooter, it says that Microsoft account required. Do I need to sign in to MS account? bk T (215)
1436769 2017-07-01 22:02:00 I don't want to use the Microsoft account; can I just sign in to this particular session (operation)? bk T (215)
1436770 2017-07-01 23:00:00 Signed in to the Store and ran Trouble shooter again and here is the result:

8139

Restarted PC and the bingWeather error still doesn't go away.

"Activation of app Microsoft.BingWeather_8wekyb3d8bbwe!App failed with error: This app does not support the contract specified or is not installed. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information."

1436771 2017-07-01 23:09:00 The DISM command you ran before often fixes problems like that, but in this case it hasn't (fully).

Try this : www.kapilarya.com

I don't want to use the Microsoft account; can I just sign in to this particular session (operation)? Yes you can, I dont sign into a MS account, all the computers here log into one of my servers. What you do is when you open an app that wants a MS account, ( you still need one ) look carefully and you should see an option to sign into the particular app only.
