| 1437527 | 2017-07-23 05:05:00 | I have never enjoyed cooking, although I love eating, and am not in any way a cook so I am glad that SWMBO is a good cook. I am retired but SWMBO is still working so I have to prepare dinner so that it is ready to cook when she arrives home. But I'd rather leave it all to SWMBO which I can do when we are on holiday and in the weekend. So if you are like me and have no interest in cooking I would strongly recommend that you do as I did - live together for a while to check out her cooking skills before you take the plunge. ;) |

When I worked till late, I'd do various meals for husband ahead of time, so all he had to do was put it in oven or whatever, then cook through. He can't cook. Can't you do the vacuuming or washing or something and leave the food to her? I get the help out as she is working, but if you're not a cook, well, I'd be asking you to do other stuff instead. If she doesn't want to cook every night, there's always the salad and hot chicken from the supermarket option.... |

I have a husband who would pretend the good fairy will do it, unless the good fairy doesn't play fair. I have pointed out that a peanut butter sandwich or saveloys don't really make the grade. |
