1437105 2017-07-13 23:33:00 Windows 10 wants me to Activate after using it for couple of months now!

What's getting on here?

1437106 2017-07-13 23:47:00 I restarted Windows, went to activate it, and now it comes out another error message:

8153

My Windows was activated when I first installed it.

Problem with their server?

How many copies of Windows MS want me to buy?

1437107 2017-07-13 23:57:00 Looks like it is time to get on the phone and talk to a human at MS. If was activated when it was installed it would still be activated. CliveM (6007)
1437108 2017-07-14 00:00:00 I've had a few issues this last week with activation. Think there is something weird at MS's end. Can you wait a few days and try again? Or failing that, as has been mentioned, try a phone activation. wratterus (105)
1437109 2017-07-14 00:01:00 How was it activated a couple of months ago?

Upgrade or key?, looks like Microsoft Servers are busy

Something to try domaingang.com

1437110 2017-07-14 00:30:00 I was running Win8.1 and did a fresh install of Win10 (free upgrade) when it was released on another HDD.

Not too long ago, my SSD died and when I got my new SSD, I decided to change over to Win10, I did a resh install of Win10 and it was activated automatically. Have been using it 'happily' since then until yesterday when I did a System Restore because the new Nvidia graphic driver wasn't performed right.

and now MS wants me to buy a new copy!!!!?????

1437111 2017-07-14 00:48:00 Ran Troubleshoot and came up with this:

What? wants me to reinstall Win10???

Maybe it's time to phone MS. What's their number to call? Sorry, can't remember, only remember there are two numbers, one 0800 number and the other 09 xxxx number.

1437112 2017-07-14 01:04:00 When you did a System Restore did you Roll it back before changing to your SSD?

Otherwise call them www.microsoft.com

1437113 2017-07-14 01:33:00 I did the System Restore only yesterday! What 'Roll back' you are talking about? My old SSD died and I had Win8.1 installed; nothing to do with Win10.

The fresh install of Win10 was done months ago and I got my new SSD. I have no activation issue after the fresh install, it was all OK. In fact, it activated automatically.

1437114 2017-07-14 02:02:00 Have a look at troubleshooting ,this - Using the Activation troubleshooter after a significant hardware change support.microsoft.com

Even though a SSD does not break activation
