594568 2007-09-24 23:16:00 daylight saving is in a few days and I don't get what I'm ment to do with my mobile phone. Vodafone issued a media release here:

www.geekzone.co.nz

they are warning people about DST.

So do mobile users have to change the time AND date?

Has microsoft nz released a windows update for the new DST for NZ?(i know pressf1 has).

594569 2007-09-24 23:30:00 Microsoft released the patch back in August.

I hope Telecom have updated their computers, otherwise my phone is affected (it syncs with Telecom).

594570 2007-09-24 23:33:00 Maybe its just to tell you to sort your clocks at home and all your alarms and all your gadgets too. beeswax34 (63)
594571 2007-09-25 00:12:00 in regards to clocks - a joke a friend of mine plays a lot to scare random people

me: hey man what the time?

Him: i don't know

me: why?

him *starts shaking and whimpering* "je-je -jesus didn't allow clocks....."

me: o.0 um you ok?

him "I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!"

its friggin hilarious watching him do it to random people - they just back the funk off and think hes some sort of Christian fanatic :D

Don't worry about it - a Vodafone phone doesn't need to have the correct time or date on it
(unless you are using it as an alarm clock) and a Telecom phone will change automatically.
