Read the link I posted Doesn't work most of the time - god knows I have tried to many times to remember. Just yesterday I collected a customers PC - they gave me the DVD RETAIL - so I used that on my own Vista HM PRE, tried Via Boot from DVD & Loaded from Vista While running - and Still the same message (www.imagef1.net.nz) - it wont let you upgrade, and I even selected the Ultimate Version from the DVD list. Even if the Upgrade option is there(from an Upgrade DVD) you HAVE to upgrade the OS, so you can go from Home Basic to Home Pre - but you will need a Pre KEY - you cant upgrade from Home PRE to Home PRE. Regarding WMP have a look at This- and run it (support.microsoft.com) As I mentioned earlier, One of My Vista WMPlayer wouldn't work - ran that and its working perfectly now :banana Well almost - just no Visualizations - but that I can live with. |
