768098 2009-04-25 22:21:00 Legacy here as well.Same as Ofthesea. Neil McC (178)
768099 2009-04-26 00:40:00 Thanks for the input guy’s, looks like I’ll be upgrading to Legacy.

In the meantime I’ve got another curly one.

I have been given another database by another member of the family that covers much the same thing although the database I have successfully imported contains information that the new one doesn’t and visa versa.

Can these two databases be merged to contain all the information in one without total chaos?

:thanks

768100 2009-04-26 04:08:00 They can be done OK wth the "Merge" feature in the LDS free edition of PAF Slim (4633)
768101 2009-04-26 04:19:00 Click on download PAF on this page.

768102 2009-04-26 07:32:00 Merge is also on Legacy plus checks for duplicates or potential problems such as strange dates. Perhaps the free version even does this, it's a download. I'd check out Legacy and the LDS one and once you've decided on one try an import then a merge. Of course keep backups and you can't go wrong. Ideally you would convince your rellies to use the same software so that you can all exchange and easily merge databases. Ofthesea (14129)
